Yes, we call it Fat’s Day in our house. “FAT” is my Dad’s nickname…because it’s short for Father. He calls himself “The Fat”..which is hilarious because he weighs about as much as a peanut. LOL.
So, I asked on Twitter who the favorite father was on GH? Most answered (drum roll) PATRICK! Suprisingly, number two is Sonny followed by Lucky. Who’s yours? Mine is Poor Ol’ AJ–the guy that was hung on a meat hook. Booo. I say him first and MAC DADDY second. I’d say Robert but that’s Night Shift!!
In the past decade GH has sure used Fathers as one thing: WHO’S THE DADDY? Is it Lucky’s, Zander’s, Jason’s, Ric’s, Nik’s…Jax’s…Sonny’s… Poor Nikolas took years to find out who is father/uncle/uncle/father was! Luke’s been torn up and down for his role as a “bad father”…but those of you that watched after the “Diner” in /93 or so know the truth. He loved his Lucky!! Alan and Jason had no relationship in the past few years, Tracy loves her Daddy–er, sometimes. Mac raised other people’s kids–as is Lucky now. We all the the MOST PROLIFIC da-da in Port Charles? Sonny Corinthos, father to many living and many DOA. Here’s hoping Jax finally gets a crack at Daddy-hood.
My favorite dad is Alan… and AZ because he’s a total crack pot LOL. SON is reporting he’s coming back next month and I am thrilled. I can’t wait to see his crazy back on the screen.
Off to my parent’s house to celebrate Father’s Day and mom’s birthday (it’s tomorrow). She’s an avid reader of Wubs (aren’t we all?) and if anyone wants to leave her birthday wishes here she would be tickled pink.

Happy Daddy’s Day, everyone. That is was what we call it in our home. Now, it’s Happy Big Daddy Cool Day!!! Big Daddy is hanging out watching Golf on the TV, so he’s loving life big time today.
All time GH Daddy Faves, mmmm, Mac Daddy, he should have his own kiddos, since he has been taking care of other people’s kids. I like Stephan Cassidine when he was on the show, he was always “looking out for Nickolas’s best interests”. He deeply cared about that kid regardless the circumstances.
Love Anthony Z., I was wondering when he was coming back now that Johnny and Olivia are an item. Of course, he will have something to do with Claudia and her baby bump, should be a good one.

Happy Birthday Lori’s Mom!!!I think my vote would be for Alan he was a good dad better than Sonny for sure.
I vote for Lee Baldwin, Tom Hardy Senior or even Scotty. Remember Scott’s grudge with Sonny goes back to Sonny hiring Karen as a stripper. Scotty had a very nice relationship with Sabrina as well.
Mike is the dad that is most unappreciated by his child.
Thanks for the Birthday wishes…it made me smile on this my “goddess day”, lol. Yup, I’m Lori’s mom and she’s my best GH buddy. I’ve been watching since the first show (oops, think I gave my age away there,lol) and Lori and I have had many a great discussion ever since she joined on during the “Lassa Fever” storyline. I used to write down the action for her when she was in school and couldn’t watch live. The show has provided much fun…and much angst now the writing has gone south.
Best dad? I think maybe Lee Baldwin, he sure put up with a lot from Scotty…and then Alan…loved his gentleness. Thanks again guys! xoxoxo
