On to GH ….I cannot stomach Claudia anymore. Can’t they kill her off? Seriously – Sonny is NOT THAT STUPID! I seriously wish Olivia would kick her butt to the curb. The mayor’s wife knowing where the key to Alexis’ house is and going in – she looked so stupid – what a really dumb storyline this is. I felt so bad for Spinelli overhearing Maxie. Poor Spin. Carly getting a temp license for Michael? Maybe back in the 70’s – certainly not in this world. How dumb. And of course, this all leads up to Claudia getting hit, it being Carly’s fault…yada yada yada.
What the hell is a “temporary driver’s liscence?” Maybe Michael is an alien from Lumina and that’s why he doesn’t have to obey the laws of us regular Earth-bound people.

I just had an idea. While I hate new(er) characters getting instant family by discovering that they are the forgotten child, half sibling, blah, blah, blah of some core character, when the Mayor’s wife was hacking into Alexis computer all I could think of was MAKE HER SPINELLI’S MOM. Not that computer hacking skills are genetic but I think Bradford Anderson and Martha Byrne could be dynamite acting together. Perhaps Alexis could reveal Andrea’s secret, an affair Andrea had years ago, perhaps with Burt Ramsey just to make a historical connection to a once prominent PC resident…perhaps Jackal PI could dig into it for Alexis only to trace it to himself! Heck, make Mac the Daddy…Andrea had an affair with the then Australian bad boy. Mayor sleeps with DA. Mayor’s wife had child with Police Chief!
Tomorrow’s soaps… Whoever is tweeting for ABC Soaps In Depth says that ABC confirmed to SID that all ABC Soaps that are pre-empted tomorrow will be aired on Wednesday, nothing will be skipped. Tuesday night on SoapNet they will re-run Monday’s shows rather than the unaired Tuesday shows. Everything will return to normal on Wednesday… except for GH… which will never return to normal until Guza hits the bricks LOL
Land Shark. Funny the first time, second time not so much. I thought Sonny had guards on his children round the clock. The past couple of weeks? Not so much.
OLTL was fantastic as usual! All of Rex’s expressions were priceless, and gargling with the dish soap was off the charts funny. Great physical comedy!
Zak’s comment is hysterical and friscowannabe’s Mayor’s-wife-is-Spinelli’s-mom comment is genius. If GH was as entertaining and as smart as most of the commenters on this board, the show would be even better than OLTL.
Okay, getting caught up on GH after not having tv or internet for a month and a half, and I have to say one thing. If Sonny says, “If this kid is Rick’s…” one more time I will bribe a writer with whatever it takes to have Claudia pull out a gun and just shoot him. He doesn’t know if the kid is his, we get it, we get the point. In fact, a dream cone true for me would be if Sonny woke up and found out that the last three years of his life was a dream. The insanity that is his screamfest with Claudia never would have happened. Alan, Emily, Georgie, and Bobbie are all still alive. Oh wait, Bobbie is alive, she’s just in a closet at the hospital. Michael never got shot, Kate still has a spine. It would be great. Okay, it would be better, unless Johnny and Lulu were back together, because I actually like her again and like him for the first time now that they are broken up. This show is awful. Its not just the stupid things that could never happen in real-life – aka license for someone in a coma for a year.
But the storylines and characters are awful. Michael always angry yet gets anything and everything he wants (still). Everyone complaining about the violence, but JJ go out and start shooting people down. The ‘medical’ mystery turning into a ‘murder’ mystery and why doesn’t scrubs pair up w/ Sam & Spin when they are the ones that are involved too? (oh SORRY, that would be too much integration!) SJB’s Claudia being even more vomit inducing than any other character EVER! The awful acting of NL as Rebecca.
If SJB leaves, I may come back. But for now, I’m done.
I just read the newest spoilers. Let’s see; gunshots take out 2, Carly gets run over, the kids run off, Michael gets mad and Jerry Jax is back. Sounds like a really fun summer. I just can’t wait. Eye roll. In fact, my eyes rolled back so far I wasn’t sure if they would return to the front of my head. This show just sucks.
If Marcy had not given back the baby, there would not have been that wonderful moment when she came out of the bathroom with the positive test stick! That was the best ever!
Last night I watched Megan Ward in Tick Tock & Murder without Conviction , this woman is soooo talented, and yet GH let’s her go. The show Dark Skies showed the real RANGE of her acting , WOW…With the BAD RATINGS OF GH, how oh how did they let her go, to good maybe, a threat to those that are not so good? The only way GH can HOPE to return to the top is to stop the madness now. We the viewers are speaking everyday and they do not listen. With Megan, Maurice Bernard FINALLY began to act again, get Sonny OUT OF THE MOB or else the end is near. Also bring back good s/l and bring back good acting, do yourself a favor go on the net and watch the brilliant acting of Ms Ward, and just stop and think how good Kate and Crimson would have been, and quit giving us actress’s that STARE ,YOU HEAR ME SJB & LLC, GH is becoming a daytime joke, and guess what no one is watching……..
mas, I think you’re on to something with your question about MW being too good for this current version of GH. She really is of a different calibre than the favourites. There’s something just not right about what GH is becoming. It seems it’s trying to turn into the cheapest, most low-grade version possible of itself. Of the few characters who give it class, most have either all but disappeared from the scene, or else they’re being subtly (or not so subtly) transformed into something “better suited” for the show being put out now. The history of those characters and their relationships matters not one whit if it doesn’t fit the agenda. It doesn’t matter what someone said did a week ago, let alone a year ago. Even if I WANTED to watch a show like that, I don’t know how I’m supposed to follow along.
