OLTL: Sure I wanted to see the wedding. Like that they had some good Physical therapy scenes. Really like Sean and the story – BUT that new guy (the doctor/brother) could have been Real Andrews. He would have been PERFECT for the role! Vicky and Clint’s relationship is awesome too. Tea’s dress is fabush! Marco’s “iron on tie” is so stupid looking.

I really wish I had better spoilers for you. I wish I could say there’s more to come than baby cramping, bullets, accidents “on the run fun” and bickering. But I can’t Blanche. Sonny will be going after another woman AGAIN…Claudia will try to hold on to her man by any means possible–and the rest? Sigh. Murder mystery that’s as boring as drying paint. Now, I’m happier than hell it’s not MOB related but come on. I really wish they had kept Kin Shriner around to do this. I know people like Martha Byrne but why not build the story a bit before just dropping it in our laps. Having Scrubs be pseudo-investigators (and Alexis actually listening to them instead of say, MAC) is just a riot. I would just write it all way differently. I think Spin and Maxie may be good, I sure hope so. They are going to have a nice rooftop romance with some comedy mixed in soon. I also bet that it takes at least 3 months for Sonny to find out that Dom is Dante.

I cannot stand this Mayor Floyd story – it is dumber than dumb. As much as I like this Dante character, he looks too old to be Olivia’s son. But, I did like him hearing Claudia saying that crap about his mother – what will he do with that?? hmmm….
OLTL – I really liked the talk Clint and Vicki had today. I think Shane will be so proud to help his mom and dad bring Pee Pee down – he will ace it, am sure. Can’t wait for this, I have been waiting for this from day one. That one IS a skank. I am still LMAO about Rex washing his mouth out with soap the other day!!
I’m sorry, but I don’t want to see a Spinelli and Maxie “romance.” They just don’t belong together, IMHO. They are great friends, but that’s it. I just don’t see any long-term romantic chemistry between them. So, why put us through this torture that will probably eventually erode the one thing positive about their relationship – their freindship?
The temp driver’s liscence thing…makes me want to smash my tv. Why is it that I can believe that the Cassadines have a weather machine and intend to use it to freeze the world (in 1981), but I don’t believe this pitiful crap?!
As for Dante…another bad casting choice. Not the actor. He’s really great. But, he does not fit this character, as it was set up to the audience. He just does not translate into being Olivia’s son. Just like Greg Vaughn (who I adore) did not translate into being Lucky when he was cast. Thus…years later, we are “treated” to the scumbag character of mumbly-joe Ethan, who is supposed to represent the “old, rebellious Lucky” played by Jonathan Jackson. You know, the one that Luke (er Tony Geary) adored!
I’ve found the secret to getting rich. If I can get enough suckers to bet against me on this one, I’ll be living in the lap of luxury. Somewhere in the next 3 to 6 months Sonny will find out Dante is his son. A week or so later, he’ll embrace him as his son. A week or so later Michael will become jealous and for three months after that they’ll simply change the names and use the Luke/Lucky/Ethan scripts again, and TIIC will pat themselves on the back for saving money. Any takers
I don’t care if the actor who plays Dante looks too old to be Olivia’s son…..I really like the actor who plays him and I like the character so far and I’m just going with it.
I figure I’ve watched crazier storylines over the years I’ve been watching GH that this is nothing compared to them. And besides, it could be possible because I’m thinking that Olivia is probably around 43, which would make Dante 26 or 27. Is that a little more believable?

I don’t have too much of a problem with the age thing reagarding the Olivia/Dante relationship (but it is there). What really bothers me is that Olivia has insisted from the get-go that she kept Dante a sectret from Sonny because she did not want her son in the mob. And, yet, HERE HE IS. IN THE MOB!!! I HATE that part of it.
I don’t care if there is some other explanantion that is to come. The fact that Olivia HAS NO IDEA that her son works for the Zacharrahs and is IN THE MOB has ruined this whole set-up for me. It sucks! The writers keep treating us like Pavlov-Dog idiots that will just lap up whatever they decide to serve us when they change their minds! The character-relationship between this mother and son that was set up since last year has been DESTROYED! And, I am getting fed up with it.
Maybe it’s time to finally end my 30-year realtionship with General Hospital! Oy! Hard call!
I FFed through much of today. I was annoyed at the license (Are you kidding me?) and how Michael gets exactly what he wants. The actor is great, but the character is a spoiled snot. Why is he not in therapy?
When are Claudia and Carly going to get pillows for their tummies? They are both like 4 months pregnant and should be showing a little, at least.
Was trying to figure out Dante’s age too… if Olivia is 40, that would make him 24… but, he looks a lot older.

OK, folks, I’m on a roll today. What is the deal with AMC’s Adam??? His behavior is strange, sometimes it’s Adam, then Stuart, and then some off the wall behavior. I just don’t get Adam anymore. Also, did I miss the p.g. test that Randi took?? That was totally left field today when she told Jesse that she’s expecting a little Hubbard. If anyone care to enlighten me on these issues, I would be grateful for the insight, because I am definitely missing something on AMC.
OLTL – Now, I used to like Rex with Gigi, now, I want Sky man with the Gigi Girl. Rex didn’t man up and tell Gigi about his gross NOS with McNasty. Also, when is he going to get tested???? Rex made a big deal about him getting tested when he was drugged by McNasty. I know that I am missing the point on this storyline. If the man can rinse his mouth with dishwashing soap, surely he can get tested Before he and Gigi hit the sheets.
Other than that, OLTL was pretty decent today. I don’t watch GH anymore, well, it’s trashed out bad. The Troll has totally ruined this terrific show. Still remember the Luke and Laura days when soaps were the hottest thing going.

Have to agree about AMC. Also finding OLTL a little boring lately. Some interesting interaction between characters, but stories need to move FORWARD.
Regarding the bet, I think Dante and Michael will end up more like AJ and Jason. Now there’s jealously and rivalry and animosity to burn. LOL

I hate the Dominante thing too. He is a great actor and fun BUT… there is no way he fits as O’s son, he looks way to old for that.
Spixie are ruined as far as I’m concerned. She treats him like a used carpet, I’m so over them. I want someone to chase Spin for a change and them to fall head over heals.
Murder Mystery – I was excited when this was supposed to be a medical mystery! Where’s Matt? I hate this story too. I like how Robin said “we have no proof” – UM, isn’t that YOUR UNCLE’s JOB TO FIND?????
OLTL – did anyone catch Bo saying “you can’t just jump out of bed and walk away”??? LOL! OMG, I thought – if you lived in Port Charles you could!!! Too funny!!!!!!!
I think I FF’ed through the Kate (anyone remember her? Heh!) sabotage storyline. Last I knew Kate was caught in the Spa, but that’s all I remember. How did they wrap up that storyline?

The picture of Sam and Jason makes me wonder if GH bought KM’s wardrobe after she left the BoPeep gig in Las Vegas. Those are some interesting shoes. They scream street walker to me. But I couldn’t walk in them to save my life.
Zak – I do agree. I wasn’t caring too much about Dante because it was going on for so long. But now that he’s here I’m liking the storyline. I’m hoping he really is undercover for the FBI and that the writers don’t ruin another character. I know I’m in the minority here, but that’s okay.
I am actually totally digging the Dante/Olivia/Johnny storyline. It is very soapsy. Isn’t this what we all wanted, bringing back the suds to soaps. Johhny is trying to kill Dominic/Dante who unkowing to him is his lover’s son. I think it’s totally suds! Love it.. And maybe because I am 34 and have an 18 year old son, the age difference doesn’t bother me. He looks young to me, just looks like he had a ‘rough’ upbringing. He looks the same age or younger than Johhny when they are in scenes together.
I am also looking forward to Karayoke night. Seems like a good way for the characters to get integrated.
Also, I do like the Robin & Patrick CSI Mystery. I think it’s different, and I look forward to watching GH.
For all the haters out there, just stop watching if you are that much in disbelief. I have been actually enjoying the last couple of weeks.
