Hey Anon, if Kate was so boring how come the ratings were so high??? Tell you what I think the current cast is boring??? And they are right about Jason’s acting, he has been doing the same thing for months,”NOTHING”. He really needs to quit the mob and start acting again, like with Elizabeth. As for Kate I think TPTB are working real hard to get her c/l back in the mix before it’s to late and GH is a new game show. The writers have got to be pulling their hair out, they created this “HORRIBLE” s/l and they will soon be if they are lucky managers at McDonald’s maybe not even managers. Do yourself a favor go on the net and watch GOOD acting Megan Ward in Tick Tock proves why she gave GH “and” Maurice Bernard a boost, he and Steve Burton look like they are lost. Also send Nic & Fake Em to Greece they have no chemistry. And please end the Spinelli sing along, like to see the ratings for this week, I bet TPTB don’t.
All I can say is this Karaoke thing at Jakes better be good with all of this buildup it has been getting. That microphone thing is ridiculous. I understand that they want us to think that Spinelli can’t sing, but that can only work if we didn’t already know that Bradford Anderson can sing.
BTW, the new tv guide has an article in it calling GH one of summer’s guilty pleasures. I had to look twice to make sure that was what they were talking about and that the issue wasn’t dated 1999. They called it “pure-escapism”. Some of the things listed that make it such a great guity pleasure are: Robin’s ppd storyline, Crimson’s lack of employees/work, and Rececca/Emily/Nikolas.
I myself thought the blink, stare, blink, stare from Jason today was quite funny. I know, I am in the minority. NuEmily was on today – YUCK! LMP was on today – YUCK. No Claudia today – YIPPEE!! Loved the scenes with Alexis, Diane and the girls, and simply Alexis and Diane. Coleman in the hat – awesome. Poor Spin – what now with the microphone in the pitcher of beer??
OLTL – I really hate to say this because I have been rooting for them, – but I skeeeved out when Rex & Gigi made love. Ugghhh….he needs to get tested – that’s just gross. And poor Gigi has no clue. Eeeeww….Todd was too funny at the no-wedding. And Dorian was reminding me of a Stepford Wife today ……seemed like she was programmed.

I also suggest that instead of hiring someone new to play Uncle Rudi they should just recycle some miscellaneous mob boss the way they recycle scripts and stories. Would we really notice? LOL
I really do hope that we see some progress when the new writer comes on board…. sigh
I’m looking forward to Karaoke night at Jakes. We’ll actually see several characters interacting in one scene. I’m sure it won’t rival the nurse’s ball but it’s better than watching Sonny and Claudia fight over Olivia.
I agree that Diane and Alexis are the best thing GH has right now. I loved Diane today trying to convince Jason to stay in jail just to make Alexis look good! I’m all-aboard the “Dixes” train!
I also liked the scenes today with Matt. Ya know, Jason Cook is one good-looking, talented kid. They need to integrate him and give him something substantial to do. He was cute with his apology to Patrick and Robin. But, I’m not sure I’d like to see him paired with Maxie. I think he would have rocked with Georgie…but, alas…we know how GH wasted that opportunity.

I will admit it, I watched most of GH today. Loved Molly reading CH’s Pandora Gets Jealous. I am curious, any adults read that book? Heard it is a good read. Can anyone tell me about it?
Loved Alexis and Diane together, they are the greatest Friend “couple” on the show right. Still quick with the channel remote to flip channels when LMP came on (every single time I watch this show, her ugly self shows up!!) She’s starting up that MO again, Ocean Park Girl. Geez, wish the show would get rid of her asap.
Not feeling the Spin and Maxie deal at all. May have missed too much to see the chemistry b/w these two characters. This Rebecca is Emily in my opinion, don’t get her storyline either. Oh well, I don’t care.
Missed OLTL today, so I will watch it tonight on SoapNet. I can’t believe that Gigi is hitting the mattress with Rex, who needs to Be Tested ASAP. I just don’t get it at all. Oh, OLTL is on, gotta to check it out. Adios, everyone
I can’t stand the murder mystery s/l…esp when Andrea goes into Alexis house & puts emails on there…..which what are we suppose to believe that she knows how to do all the same stuff that Spin does……how could she change the dates of ‘old’ emails?? Spin could do that but I seriously doubt the Mayors wife would ‘know’ all of this stuff…heck wouldn’t she just pay someone else to do the dirty work for her??? Thats why its so unbelieveable if you ask me…..Yeah, Jason has been boring for so long and so is Sonny…..its the same crap for like what 10yrs now….how can as actors they be interested in anything???
The only times I really like Jason is with Liz/Spin/Monica….at least he acts different……If the ratings don’t do better …heck if all the Soaps don’t do better they’ll all be cancelled….my SOD stated about Days being possibly CX next ……but if all the PTB at these networks would really LISTEN to US as FANS….than maybe they’d like get a clue as to what will keep US watching…..I want great acting & great storylines….no bombs/fire’s/guns etc…..I don’t need that stuff……a great S/L means more than all of that …….but its funny how they do just the opposite really. Thats why I think they want all of them to fail……if not they have a strange way of showing it……its all disgusting …….and uncalled for….IMO……none of the soaps are safe anymore really…..sad but so true…..I don’t watch Days or any others only GH……..but we all know how thats been going for yrs now……….a shell of its former great self………
OK, just finished watching OLTL!!! That doctor has to go ASAP!!! I can’t believe that he talked to Bo and Nora like that, saying that he can’t explain this type of surgery to them because it was too complicated!!! WTH, Bo and Nora are very intellegent people, they can get the gist of the procedures of this surgery. Geez, I would not let my child get any surgery until I get all the facts, either.
It’s official, I am so over Rex because he did not man up and tell Gigi about his ONS with the yucky one. Then he makes Gigi feel guilty about her mistakes and not owning his mistakes. Think he is related to LMP in my opinion. Geez, Rex, get real and get a test already.
Sky is the man, calling Rex on it. I love Sky’s and Gigi’s chemistry, very easy and caring to each other. Loved Dorian today, so 1950s June Cleaver, was waiting for Ward to show up. The show was pretty good today.

Coleman needs his own spin-off. I hope Spinelli gets consulted on those ridiculous emails planted of Andrea’s, but that would make too much sense for GH these days. I’d like to see he and Maxie away from each other for a while – I think their ship has sailed for me. The route to where they are now has been too long and torturous, and both characters are wearing thin.
If the show were to get rid of Elizabeth, as some on here would like, I really think that would be serious bad news for Jason’s character. She’s one of the few left that he comes to life with, and his story with her adds a dimension to him that is otherwise sadly lacking. Without that, what’s left to tell about him? I’ve been a Jason fan for years, but right now he’s one of the most uninteresting characters on GH.
I love LMP….she’s my favorite character on the show. But the writing is so bad right now that I’m not even tuning in for her….alas!
Thanks Ocean Park Girl, I would never have figured it out ’cause I don’t think of Elizabeth that way. I like her because she’s more ‘grounded’ than some of the other folks on the show. But, I like Ethan too, so whadda I know!!!
I thought the Jason’s blink-stare was really funny. Spixie have great dynamic with Jason so I think that brings it out.
I am looking forward to the karaoke. This show needs something fun a la nurses ball. Hopefully the karaoke night will provide just that.
I am also loving the Spixie romance. I have been waiting for this. I am appreciative that there is more depth starting to be written back into Spixie. I would love to see that continue along with good balance of quirky and sweet/heartfelt. I feel that TPTB are just beginning to get their groove back after the heavy, heavy, out-of-character angst of these two for the last 5 months. I am hoping for good things for these two.
The Matt and Maxie conversation was really good yesterday. They have a pretty good friend vibe. I wish they had put Matt with Nadine, especially as they were both working at the hospital. I agree with the poster above, he would have been good with Georgie too. Now, i don’t know.
Like you, I wish that they had tied up the crimson storyine. It just went AWOL. I hope that they wrap it up and not just leave it hanging. GH has a bad tendency of just dropping storylines and this one could have been interesting.
I am liking the murder mystery for two reasons: No mob and more cast integration. Now all we need is for Mac to lead the investigation.
I wish the NuNem story would just end.
