We used to play Ketchup as kids–can’t remember just what I did but sounded good. Since I was gone for so long and have (sort of) caught up on some stuff, I thought I’d do a nice blog about it all.
If you were on Twitter last night, you saw the whole “BlogTalkRadio” fun unfold. If not, you missed a wild night! BTR is a site where people like you and I can create a chat show with rolling comments and call ins. I had never heard of it, tuned in an started making my usual snark comments. It was a Liason-based show encouraging JaSam fans to come on and “debate” the issues. Well, my tweets made it on to the show and I decided to call in. Ryan was on from BuzzworthyRadio so I knew there was a cooler head in there with me! In the end, it was interesting. I tried to remind everyone that the way Guza writes, couples are built, shredded, built and shredded (most of the time using the same damn dialog over and over!!) They are also behind “Save Our Soaps” campaign which I think has been one of the more effective internet movements so far.
As you know, NLG is in England and still tweeting…which is no small feat. She must either have a 3G iphone or a Sim card. I wish I could have tweeted from my remote locations.
Scrubs have signed up for the LA AIDS Walk. I took this from The Scrubs Hub Blog:
Just a reminder: the Scrubs board will be auctioning off scripts starting August 28th. The scripts include Robin proposing to Patrick, Patrick gives Robin his answer, Patrick and Robin get engaged, the start of the wedding (12/26), Patrick and Robin get married (12/29). All proceeds benefits AIDS Walk LA. If you haven’t already, stop by the Scrubs Board to check out Kimberly’s message to Scrubs fans in regards to this years AIDS Walk. As of this post, the GH team has raised a total of $8,780.00 for this worthy cause.
Speaking of charities, thank you for your clicks on the ads on the WubsNet page. I’ve pledged $150 to the Linda Blair World Heart Foundation. With the carnival coming to town, word has it there was a ferris wheel involved. I challenge all Wubs Readers to spot the Gelato cart at the fair grounds as say, the Sno-Cone booth. Come on, you know she’ll be there! If this is the locale shoot, btw, we know both Chrissie Fit (Mercedes) and Sebastian Roche (Jerry) were there. Interesting.
Not sure if they totally dropped the Mistress Murder? Did anything happen while I was gone on that front? I’m guessing nothing big was going on. Martha Byrne is supposedly leaving in Sept.
Sonny is going to deal with Keifer one way or another, but it will trigger his childhood Duke memories. Good Lord, they certainly have gotten mileage out of THAT history.
There’s that casting call going out for an African-American 18-19yr girlie. Geesh. Stunning turn of events. :eyeroll: Please make it be because Taggert is coming back to be Donte’s boss. Wouldn’t that be GREAT?! Not only does Sonny find out his kid’s a fed, TAGGERT got him to go after Sonny! ( I should write for this show, just sayin’)
Cassadine Expansion coming? Rumors have been going all over about Luke bringing back a chick from his “entrapment” via Helena. Will Stavors be her Daddy? Remember many moons ago I said RKK was approached about coming back to the show in a limited run. Whether or not he says yes remains to be seen!
Ah, nice one: Genie Francis off to AMC? Much spec if Susan Lucci decides not to move to LA–Robin Christopher’s name is being batted around as well. If Genie goes, will she be “Ceara” her character she played on AMC in 1990. I think she was Myrtle’s niece? I can’t even speculate. Why ABC would want her to go there instead of GH makes no sense. But..er..since when did that matter?
Daytime Confidential (quickly becoming THE uber site on the net) has a great interview up with Brett Claywell (Kyle) from OLTL. “Kish” is fast becoming a very popular couple–gay or not.

Rick is coming to Knoxville on September 4th and I have up-front tickets near the stage (the fair he’s playing is a sponsor of my show)……AND CAN’T GO!!!! I have a high school football game that same night. I produce those broadcasts so I have to work. Arghhh!
My sisters are happy, though.
By the way, Rick’s Twitter account is indeed legit but sometimes his “people” post for him but they always identify themselves when they do. When Rick posts himself he does the same.

GH loosing steve burton and kelly monaco would not be a loss. sending them off into the sunset and getting new writers is the only way to save this show. the cast is talented except for natalia livingston and the actor who plays ethan.
The writers make me crazy too, the way they just forget who it is they are writing for. Sonny is finally going to deal with Kiefer huh? About time! Seriously, I was as rebellious as any teen but you would think that Kiefer, or anyone for that matter would think twice before bullying the children of the biggest local mobster!
Also, another thing that bothers me is that they never really say much about Kristina’s roots, I mean she’s half Cassadine half Corinthos. She should be quite literally hell on wheels!
It just really bugs me that some random teen has that much power to push around Kristina and the other two. Does he have a death wish? Did he forget who she is? Is he just really stupid? I mean her uncle or her daddy could arrange for his dissappearance in the blink of an eye!
I hope Claudia finds out he was the driver. I hope she gets some one on one time with him. Just desserts I say!

Okay – I hate the Jason and Sam revisit. They are boring me. I’m a bit lost with their story. I’m watching but not paying attention. I don’t get it? If Sam can beat the crap out of every BIG, Bad Thug she encounters why can’t she just carry Jason to safety…where the hell are they any way? Promise me not to die…BOO HOO. Shouldn’t Jason have bled to death by now.? Just saying.
Thanks for the new spoilers! I was giving up on GH after Rick Hearst left but Dominic/Dante came on right around that time and this guy has me hooked…on his story anyway. Hope they can do it right.
It is almost “OVER” SOS is winning every day, the writers if you want to call them that, are so in denial it is a shame. GH “USED” to be the main daytime drama it has become a “JOKE”. Really do I really care if Jasam gets back togather to start over the same old boring s/l,NO I do not do I want to see teens in turmoil NO, do I want to see Olivia “LIE” her way out of her stupid logic NO, do I want to see more values, then tough talking women falling all over hatefull, uncaring men No, what I would “LOVE” to see is the return of good s/l with all that daytime has always been enjoyable, realism I see every night and day on the news, and the net, daytime was a “great escape”, family, lovers, now what do we have a has been Luke (please let him stay where ever he is and have him send for Ethan, bring back the Sonny of two yrs ago, fun, loving and for the first time belieablw with a woman that is smart, savvy, and a real match. enough of the “DUMB” Date story heck he’s more like Kate then Olivia, these characters are beiong shoved down our throats, a Sonny & Kate video on the net is well over one million, Guza does not have a clue what “REAL” women want only his dream of the tough leather clad Brooklyn babe, Hey Bob that went out with B-movies, GET A CLUE, SOS is growing I just hope it’s not to late….
I think you accidentally typed Duke instead of Deke; however, wouldn’t it be quite interesting if somehow Sonny’s “early involvement” in the mob did actually involve Duke? Lavery that is (since Duke was also in the mob).
In reference to Ceara on AMC (Genie Francis) and also Loving, if I remember correctly, Ceara, the con artist/incest victim/Myrtle’s niece (making her also Skye’s cousin) was married to Jeremy when she died. I do not see how they could bring Genie on as the same character.
Hi “mas” – What is SOS? I don’t like that GH revolves around The Mob either. PC is the only city where just about every resident has been shot. The mob story is over done and lame….yes, enough already.
But Dante/Dominic is the freshest thing to hit GH in a very long time. This actor is playing the part with character and humor…plus he is cute as heck! Anyway…Olivia made the decision to keep Dante’s paternity a secret as a 15 year old girl and shared it with Kate only. So, its kind of ironic she raises her kid to be on the right side of the law because the Daddy he doesn’t know he has is a Mob Boss…at least I feel like I am getting a little story here. And Dante with Morgan was brilliant! I want to see more of that.
Yes, I want more love in the afternoon and not bullets. Scrubs is pretty good…just get this Mayor’s Mistress Story done already….that is boring. I don’t miss Luke either…Ethan should go find him and get lost as well.

Hi Lisa , SOS is Save Our Soap (mainley GH) go to the sight on the net and you will be able to help bring back love in the afternoon. Also Dante IS a good actor I just don’t buy he is Olivia son she would have had to be twelve when she had him. Also she came on GH telling Kate not to marry Sonny because he was no good for her, well we see why she came now she want’s him and always has, the Sonny & Kate were the realist love I have ssen on daytime , Lisa go to you tube and watch Sonny & Kate and you will see why we want them back, also check the youtube video of its all comming back to me now over one million hits and climbing, join us on SOS and we will FINALLY get rid of this stupid imitation Soprano thing Guza loves.
